Meetup Description: The idea behind the Socrates Café is that we learn more when we question and question with others.

Philosophy is the study of general problems concerning matters such as existence, knowledge, truth, beauty, justice, validity, mind, and language.

We're a small group of smart laid-back thinkers who discuss questions of all sizes, while laughing, drinking coffee, and happily escaping the daily grind, without the pretension, doom and gloom often confused with formal philosophizing.

All are welcome to this open discussion group, based on the Socrates Cafe idea: good people, good coffee, fun challenging conversation.

I can promise no one bites or smells funny, there will be plenty of thought provoking talk, and a good vibe all around. Come on down and do something social and smart that beats veging in front of the TV.
