Is the world of appearance, the world of natural phenomena about which science tells us, the ultimate reality? Or is Plato right to analogize us to people in a cave who behold shadows on a wall that are cast by a reality outside the cave, a reality that most people never glimpse? Come ponder the ultimate nature of reality with us!

    Deep thoughts from Emily:) I think in the hopes to understand the "ulitmate" reality is where religion first began. We all know that through everyone's unique experiences that we've developed our own perception of what reality is. So, is there an ulitmate reality that governs all others? Eistine believed that there must be, so to speak, another deminsion that included this "ulimate" reality. I think this other deminsion is what some view as God or Ali or Buddah or (the list goes on and on....)
